Portugal.

Separated by many oceans and three continents, my parents, siblings and I have decided to reunite in Europe every year. This year, we met in Portugal.

The light in Lisbon was a photographer’s dream. It’s been a long time since I was inspired by a city, and Lisbon’s sunshine was a welcome reprieve from a long Canadian winter. I loved being able to explore the city on foot, and as you may well know, I love photographing small moments; cute corners; shadows and light.

I bought a Ricoh GR IV specifically for this trip, and it did not disappoint. I loved having a camera portable enough to put in my pocket, whilst still being able to shoot in RAW and maintain the quality I so desire in my craft.

All photos below were taken on the Ricoh; edited in Lightroom.
